Mr. Syed Moazzem Hussain, Chief Guest and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Company highly lauded the efforts of field workers and executives in the growth of the Company. He also disclosed that the Company has earned about Tk.105.81 crore by way of investments. On behalf of the Board, he heartily thanked all of them and hope that in future they would put in their best to make 2007 another successful year for the Company.

Based in England, Mr. Mosleh U. Ahmed FCA who worked for sometime in Delta Life is well-known as an international expert on Micro-credit and insurance. He delivered his key note speech on Micro-credit and insurance in global perspective. He remaxed that Delta’s Micro-credit and insurance program has created much stir in international arena and is cited as a leader in Micro Insurance movement that has been spreading at an accelerated pace.

Mr.Das Deba Prashad, Managing Director reviewed the overall performance of the business of the Company and dwelt at length on the strategies that should be adopted in the current year. According to him, the main object of holding annual conference is to evaluate the overall performances of our field level workers and officers of the Company and to encourage them to be more dedicated in future. He strongly hoped that new feathers would be added in the cap of the Company through dedicated efforts and endeavours of the field workers and officers in future years. The Gono-Grameen Bima business target for the year 2007 has been fixed at Tk. 170 crore.

About 650 successful marketing personnel from Ordinary Life Division of the Company participated in the Conference. Mr. Syed Moazzem Hussain, Chairman and the Chief Guest distributed prizes to the successful field workers and officers for their remarkable business achievements in the year 2006.
The Conference ended with a colorful cultural programme in the evening.
